Family of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Picual monovarietal, Royal Monovarietal and Picual Ecological Monovarietal) with Sierra de Cazorla Protected Designation of Origin. All of them produced at the beginning of November from Selected Green Olives.
The Picual variety is characterized by being a full-bodied EVOO, bright green and very balanced in its bitterness and spiciness characteristic of this variety. It is an extra virgin with intense fruitiness. Its most characteristic tasting notes are the tomato plant, green almond and fresh grass. Among the best qualities of the picual is its great resistance to oxidation, thanks to the significant amount of vitamin E it possesses and the large amount of antioxidants present as it is a green olive, that is, early harvest.
Our Essential is the only EVOO of the Royal variety with Designation of Origin in the world, in addition to being cultivated in a traditional and ancestral way in the Sierra de Cazorla region, where it is native. Fruit of exquisite rarity, it is an extra virgin of great value, since it is an autochthonous variety of the Sierra de Cazorla where we are. It is a delicate extra virgin, with fresh fruitiness, sweet favors and notes of apple and fig. Its flavor is less intense and, therefore, it is very popular with all kinds of palates.
Cultivated organically in the middle of the Sierra de Cazorla, we have a limited selection of products of the Picual variety that show, with the pride of many olive grower members, the seal of Organic Agriculture, collected and elaborated at the end of October and beginning of November, and with quality results that have been noted in the market.
